Herman Frank Kennedy

This is Herman Frank Kennedy. He has alluded me for quite sometime. I finally found the census that states he was adopted, however I haven't been able to find out what year he was adopted or from what orphanage. Herman died young in his 40's from an illness. I once read a letter he wrote to his wife stating he was really sick, but I haven't come across that letter in a while.

His parents were Frank and Anna Kennedy, who lived in Michigan. Herman was born in Michigan so the 1900 census states and then Married Eunice A. Not sure on her surname yet, the last census that I have on Herman as married is in 1910.
So this census states that Herman is adopted and that his biological parents are from Germany. The family then falls off the face of the earth we for me anyway. I have been hard at work looking through the census trying to find Frank and Anna, for some reason I feel as though Anna's name may have been changed to Emma during a brief period. I am holding on to that thought while I finish my research on Herman.
Hopefully it will open more doors for me.

Also in the 1910 census it states that Herman is married and a boarder lives with them and his parents. I am looking into that to see if the boarder and Eunice Herman's wife are related.
